Warranty and Returns

Here at First Coast Aviation, our core belief is that we are not First without YOU.  You can be rest assure that you will receive the most up to date information on your questions, quote requests, purchases, and or the repair of your spare parts.  Our highly trained personnel will ensure the most professional and time sensitive return on your needs.

Customer MRO Overhauls

All parts repaired/overhauled by First Coast Aviation include a 6-month standard warranty, from the tag date, unless extended by the FCA Repair Department, in writing.  Within this warranty period, First Coast Aviation guarantees the performance and workmanship of the parts that were replaced during the overhaul. 

Serviceable and Overhauled units sold by First Coast Aviation, Inc.

Warranty periods on pre-owned, overhauled (OH) and serviceable (SV) units sold by First Coast Aviation, Inc. vary depending on the item. Your sales representative will confirm the specific length of warranty for the particular item at the time of purchase. Should a unit sold by First Coast Aviation, Inc. fail during its warranty period, First Coast Aviation, Inc. will either repair or replace the unit.

New Units sold by First Coast Aviation, Inc.

All new units operate under the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty. These warranties are subject to the terms and conditions of the OEM.

Repair Policies

In most cases, repair/service items received by First Coast Aviation, Inc., are evaluated within 5 business days of receipt.  A detailed estimate to repair and or certification is then provided to the Customer for their review.  Upon Customer approval, the service work is immediately initiated.  Average Turn Around Time (TAT) for repairs/overhauls and certifications is 3-5 business days.

Exchange Core Returns

A repairable core is due within 30 days or the core value will be invoiced. If the core returned is declared B.E.R. an evaluation fee will also apply. The core returned must be the exact same part number as the unit shipped to the customer.
